The master student works closely with his/her supervisor under the advise of Prof. Shea when picking a topic and throughout the whole research period. The proposed topics have an direct impact on the state of the art research in the particular field. Some projects are proposed by our industry partners and is conducted under the supervision of both our chair and an external partner.

As ETH regulations allows for the possibility of acquiring up to 30 ECTS outside of ETH, when an opportunity arises, we may send our master students to another university for a part or all of their master thesis. Visit the student projects page to see the available projects.
